I am especially looking to feature the 5 star hotels in Bangkok. The city and its immediate area has no less than 5 star hotels and whether you are just looking for the first and last night or your holiday near the international airport, or whether you are looking to make Bangkok the base, you will find some magnificent hotels at very affordable prices. In fact, 5* Bangkok hotels could easily cost less than a humble 3* in many European capitals.

So, what of luxury holidays 2012? Well, many people on a long haul holiday will twin Phuket, Pattaya or one of the other superb beach resorts with a stay in Bangkok. Do not think that you will have to “slum it” when you leave Bangkok as Phuket alone has 44 5* star hotels and who can forget the Royal Cliff in Pattaya.
